Steak 48 is a must try! Great level of service, great ambiance, the food is delicious. I ordered fried lobster tails as an appetizers and for my main course Bone In Ribeye with truffle butter, crab cakes and Sparagus. For dessert red velvet bread putting. It was delicious! Check it out.

Spent my anniversary here and was throughly impressed. Staff, second to none. Chef, top notch ( I swear somebody’s aunt is in the kitchen making those sweet potatoes). Excellent wine and cognac selection, try the Remy Martin 1738. Don’t be afraid to order off menu.

Most delicious ribeye ever

What a great experience! Waiting area was a bit cramped (cold night with a backup, not the best for Covid). Once we were seated though it was quickly forgotten. Server (Sheng) was very knowledgeable about the menu and the chef’s creations. It was my birthday and it was a memorable one. The warm caramel cake was a great surprise and we ate every bit! We will be back!

I called in to make a reservation and everything went smoothly and up to par with my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and the a accommodations were pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone I know.

I loved this place, and the food. I always go here for my birthday dinner. But my recent visit was pretty disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, the ribeye I ordered was cooked perfectly, just as I wanted and still very delicious. Of course, the red velvet pudding as well. But the service I received from the moment I walked through the door, to picking up my order at the bar, was very, VERY disappointing and surprising. I didn’t expect that kind of treatment from the staff. no one acknowledged me when I was at the bar standing for 5-6 minutes waiting for my order. I felt I was being discriminated against because everyone else the hostess greeted. I felt maybe if I was a tall good-looking man, I’m pretty sure all the hostesses at the front would’ve said something or acknowledged me. Because that was the kind of vibe I felt when I walked in to the restaurant. Anyway, I spent my actual birthday at Roka Akor and had a very great time. I may just start going to Roka from now on since I now have a bad taste in my mouth when I think of Steak48. 😔 I will surely miss the red velvet pudding.

Probably one of the best steakhouses in Houston. Steaks are perfectly seasoned, great sear, and always cooked to the requested temp. Crab mac and cheese, brussel sprouts are always great and the wait staff is top notch. Date night ambience or perfect for a group outing as well. Forgive the blurry photo. Enjoyed this lovely restaurant for my girlfriend's birthday along with several of her friends. The waiter, Samuel, was on point throughout our dining experience and explained the dishes without hesitation. Pork belly appetizer, delicious! New York strip, awesome! Ahi (bluefin tuna) was the best I've had anywhere. We will certainly return for another dinner for that next special occasion.

The restaurant had well spaced eating areas with glass partions between tables so guests could remain comfortable while dining. The ambiance, selection of food and service was top notch. I will definitely be dining with them again.

The food and atmosphere is amazing! I highly recommend the fried deviled eggs, brussel sprouts, crab and lobster man and cheese...basically the entire menu! Also kudos to management for really adhering to safety protocols to keep customers safe.

An amazing evening at company Christmas party. The food was beyond great service we world class and the atmosphere to match. If you are looking for a dinning experience here it is. Defiantly top five meals if my life a must for fine dinning in Houston.

Amazing place

I’ve been here quite a few times and overall its a great place to enjoy a romantic night out on the town. The food is excellent and the service is great. I always get a ribeye no matter where I go and their’s is very nice. The sides are also large portions which are great for sharing and very delicious. Sometimes it gets a little crowded in the evenings. Definitely one of the more popular steak houses in Houston. I would say check it out if you haven’t already. And it’s valet only so keep that in mind.

Its a very good place to have a wedding after party. The wait time was a bit long, but thats okay. The can cook good and present it nicely. My only grief is, they can still make mistakes... so don't go too hard on them. ... my bread pudding that I never got ;_;

I frequent Steak 48 often. I’ve always brought clients in for dinner meetings and hosted several large holiday parties here. I came in for dinner at the bar in October of this year. Service was great, per usual. However, I came down with a case of food poisoning after dining with them that evening. I called the next day to report the incident. I was met with a very rude and condescending response by the employee who took my call. He even went as far to suggest that it may have been something I did to cause it and advised that no one had ever had this issue. (Which based on SEVERAL google reviews that I’ve read ... this is NOT true.) I never received a follow up from a manager, despite reaching out a second time. It’s the lack of accountability and respect for me. Patrons beware!!!! Houston is practically the restaurant capital of the US. This type of behavior will kill their business.

Dimly lit, but very upbeat, sexy atmosphere. Very diverse crowd. Social distancing strategy very well thought out.They even called the next day to check on us. I will 100% visit again.

Everything was perfect except for the dessert, but maybe because everything was perfect from the service to absolutely everything they put on the table that I had extremely high expectations for the dessert; we order the red velvet bread pudding and personally I thought it was overly sweet but it was good. We got a table on the back were we could see the kitchen and that was awesome, overall I had a great experience, I'm definitely coming back!

I’ve been here so many times, steak 48 is the best in the area. Love happy hour, the drinks are always on point and the service is great. I’m here weekly and I can’t stop lol
